Indication Recommended dose Duration of treatment Duodenal ulcer
30 mg once daily 2 weeks Gastric ulcer 30 mg once daily 4 weeks Reflux oesophagitis 30 mg once daily 4 weeks Prophylaxis of reflux oesophagitis 15 mg once daily. The dose may be increased up to 30 mg daily as necessary. As directed by physician NSAID associated benign gastric and duodenal ulcers 30 mg once daily 4 weeks Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease 30 mg once daily 4 weeks Zollinger-Ellison syndrome 60 mg once daily
Daily doses of up to 180 mg have been used. If the required daily dose exceeds 120 mg, it should be given in two divided doses.
As directed by physician Eradication of Helicobacter pylori Lansoprazole 30 mg BID + Amoxicillin 1000 mg BID + Clarithromycin 500 mg BID 10 or 14 days Lansoprazole 30 mg TID + Amoxicillin 1000 mg TID 14 days Lansoprazole 30 mg BID + Clarithromycin 250 mg BID + Metronidazole 400-500mg BID 7 days Paediatric
