Ms. RABIA AFSHEEN

Human Resource Manager

Rabia Afsheen has done her MBA in human resource Management. She is a thorough HR Professional having more than 15 years of experience at different HR positions. She has been involved in strategic HR planning, process re-engineering, revision and implementation of modern HR practices and policies at Company level. She has previously worked at different management positions in Beacon House School System, Makro Cash & Carry, Allied Bank of Pakistan, Jotun Powder Coatings, Highnoon Laboratories. Rabia has Global Certification of SHRM – SCP Certified Senior Human Resource Professional. She has played an active role in changing the culture by promoting open communication and conducting awareness workshops, planting fresh graduates and closely monitoring the outcomes. She promoted high involvement work teams’ concept in Jotun. She was instrumental in Organizational restructuring in Highnoon Laboratories, Pharmagen Limited and Allied Bank Limited where she also introduced fast track programs. She has been involved in various developmental projects in her current and past roles.

Mr. Shamshad Anis Hashmi
Plant Head

    Mr. Shamshad Anis Hashmi is Pharmacy graduate from University of Punjab Lahore. He did his MBA in 1999. Mr. Shamshad has a working experience of 27 years. He has extensive experience of working in both Multinational and national companies. He spent 19 Years in Bayer Schering, Stiefel Laboratories, GSK. He has spent time in Seatle, Himont, Siza International and Wimits Pharmaceuticals. While working in Bayer he received 10 year service award. He also was the recipient of Excellence Recognition award (ERA) from GSK. More recently he received ERP development award at Moringa Pharmaceuticals (Pvt.) Ltd. He is striving to bring Moringa Pharmaceuticals Plant among top ten of Punjab and also Striving for uplifting Pakistan’s Pharmacy Profession at International standards. He likes to be engaged in Social links, Sports and outing.

Syed Jawad Hussain
Quality Assurance Manager

    Syed Jawad Hussain is a Doctor of Pharmacy (RPh) and is doing his M.Phil. in Pharmaceutical Sciences. He has experience of working in National, multinational and international companies like Schazoo Zaka Healthcare, BAYER Healthcare, Julphar Gulf pharmaceuticals.

    Jawad has Achieved High performance rating in BAYER in 2014. He also played and important part in the Completion of Injectable Section Structural Changes Project in Bayer Healthcare. He Faced US-FDA inspection for GMP compliance in 2016. In addition, the other International Inspections tackled with success were MOH Dubai, Saudi FDA, Mexico FDA, Egypt. Bayer Global TAC Audit (At Bayer Healthcare, Pakistan).

Mr. Imran Saddiqi

    Mr. Imran Saddiqi is a Masters of Analytical Chemistry from the prestigious GC University Lahore. He has 13 year working experience in multinational and national pharmaceuticals companies. i.e., Servier Research & Pharmaceuticals (Pvt.) Ltd, NovaMed Pharmaceuticals. He has successfully gone through numerous inspections at plant from Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP), FID and Punjab Government. He is in pursuit of finding what he loves to do while taking care of all Moringa family members. He hopes to contribute beyond himself and yet enjoy life more. He likes to read Pharmaceutical books.

Mr. Faiz Ahmed Chishti

    Mr. Faiz Ahmed Chishti is a Pharmacy graduate of Baqai Medical University, Karachi. He has been associated with the industry for the past 13 years. He worked in Aga Khan University Hospital Karachi, and was part of the Chlorhexidine Research Study. He has also worked in Mediceena, Neutro Pharma and Mega pharmaceuticals and achieved highest production records in Neutro and Mega Pharma. His goal is to uplift professional expertise to serve profession and the community in the best way. He likes reading and Swimming.

Mr. Kashif Khan
Engineer

    Mr. Kashif Khan is a graduate from N.E.D University Karachi. He has work experience of 18 years in different companies that include Schazoo Laboratories, CCL Pharmaceuticals, PDH Laboratories, Islam Pharmaceuticals, Standpharm Pharmaceuticals, Pacific Pharmaceutical. He designed & fabricated air Blowing Machine in Schazoo Laboratories. He also designed & completed the civil work of I-Drop section there. He designed and completed the civil work of New Cef & Penicillin area in PDH Laboratories and also renovated the Injectable section in record time. He got the QMS certificate from CCL pharmaceuticals. He wants to design the Injectable area for Moringa Pharmaceuticals. He firmly believes in “Better Today than Yesterday”. He likes designing, Cycling and playing Snookers.

Mr. Atiq Ur Rehman
Assistant Manager Warehouse

    Mr. Atiq Ur Rehman is a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm-D) RPH. He has vast experience in National and International Organizations includes Makkah group of pharmacies (U.A.E), CSH Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd., Himont Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., and Fazal Din Pharma Plus. He has good experience in handling cGMP inspections and implementation of SAP system in CSH Pharmaceuticals. He is also M.O.H certified pharmacist in U.A.E. His goal is to continue his career in his current field to provide material mangemnet and good storage practices through CMP. His hobbies are cricket, reading books, and travelling.

Regulatory Department

 

The regulatory department of Moringa prepares, coordinates, manages and maintains simple and complex regulatory submissions that include initial submissions and re-registrations. It has actively contributed to the development and implementation of regulatory strategy for assigned projects. The department is busy in implementing and effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS).

It is an interface with external regulatory groups (e.g., Local Agents, partner, consultants, etc.) in the preparation/review/compilation/finalization/submission/posting of regulatory submissions. The department has provided regulatory support for developments, manufacturing, post approval etc. and has been instrumental in monitoring the company progress toward fulfilment of regulatory commitments. It has initiated and contributed to local process improvements which have an impact on Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance or other departments. It played a key role in the Site registration for GMP audit and renewal of facility licence. The diligence that was required for the pre-inspection audit was meticulous and it facilitated and ensured that all documentation was in-place proved its effectiveness.

Dr. Muhammad Asim

Regulatory Affairs Manager

Dr. Muhammad Asim is a Doctor of Pharmacy and has done his MBA from Common Wealth of Learning, Canada. He is also a Certified Professional of ICAMPE from USA. He is associated with the Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical industry for the past 18 years in different capacities in Sales /Marketing/Product Management, Product Development Business Development and Regulations. Dr. Asim has gone through several successful GMP compliance, License establishment and renewal inspections by different local and international panels (CIS, ASEAN, Africa & Philippines). He is experienced in Licensing and Establishment of new manufacturing sections with layout approval and revisions of Cephalosporin, Hormone and FG store, Topical Steroid and non-steroidal areas, Soft gel and Dry powder general area, Narcotic area. He has under his belt the registration of more than 100 Pharma drug products in 3 years for both local and export markets. He has an experience of Enlistment of two Cosmeceutical companies [BF Pielor and Molina turkey with SCC (Saffron)] and 40 nutraceutical product Enlistment for Wilshire. He is actively involved in DRAP’ s CTD training sessions. Dr. Asim likes to read and travel.

Ms. Amina Amin

Amina Amin is a Doctor of Pharmacy. She took up education as a career after completing Pharm-D. She worked as an intern in Shaukat Khanum, Lahore and currently working as a Regulatory Affairs Executive in Moringa Pharmaceuticals. Her goal is to continue professional career by applying and developing her skills and knowledge within a dynamic and fast paced Pharmaceutical Industry. She likes reading, baking and traveling.

Dr. Iram Tariq

    Dr. Iram Tariq is a Medical Graduate of Fatima Jinnah Medical College. She did her M.Phil. in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology in 2011. She has been associated with the Pharmaceutical industry for the past 26 years in different positions in Marketing and Medical departments. She spent her major tenure in Highnoon Laboratories and then moved to Indus Pharma, Karachi as head of Marketing. She has won numerous awards during her career and has been instrumental in developing and mentoring her teams who have achieved excellence and are serving in other companies. Dr. Iram is health conscious and her motto is to be “better, stronger, kinder and bolder”. She thrives on teamwork and likes to inspire people to achieve their true potential. She spends time in singing and engaging in healthy activities.

Mr. Zakir Hussain

    Mr. Zakir Hussain is a double Masters of Business Administration and Islamic Studies. He has a working experience of 17 years in sales. He started his career from Sami Pharmaceuticals, and then later worked in Himont and Wilson Pharmaceuticals. He has a vast experience of launching new groups, Teams and new products in different companies.

    He has had an exposure of working in almost all the specialties. He is leading the sales operations in Moringa and is confident to achieve financial objective of the organization. Zakir likes to spend his spare time in long drives and reading books.

Mr. Aamir Intizar Chaudhry
Product Manager

    Aamir Intizar Chaudhry is doctor of Pharmacy from Hajvery University, Lahore. He has more than 5 years of marketing experience in a sensitive corporate environment. He gained expertise in product marketing plan, strategies, marketing skills with web-based advertising, brochure designing, website management, SMM plans, and business strategies. Before joining Moringa Aamir has had the opportunity to work in Kaizen pharma as Training Manager and prepared SPO’s for detailing to enhance their sales and achieved 5% increment in overall region sales. He has also served in Green Plus Pharmacie as Business Development Manager and achieved the targets with 19% business growth. As a Branch Manager he achieved 22 million sales of Bahria Town Green Plus Pharmacie.  He also worked as the Hospital Pharmacist in CMH Lahore. Aamir’s ambition is to become a successful & good marketer.

Mr. Asif Hussain
Distribution Manager

    Asif Hussain is a Bachelor of Science from FC College, Lahore. He has experience of working at different positions in Marketing and Sales. He started his career at from Roche as a Sales Promotion Officer. He then moved to Highnoon and progressed to the position of Sales Manager and also worked as Regional Manager Human Resource. While in Highnoon Asif was the recipient of Best District Manager award thrice and twice was declared Best Sales Manager of the company. He then joined PREMIER AGENCIES as Business Unit Manager. In Premier Agencies Highnoon, Pharmevo, Sandoz and CCL showed highest growth from 2015 TO 2017 under his able leadership. Asif wants to utilize his experience and skills for the business development of organization. His wish is to inculcate values in his children to be better humans who are helpful and are supportive of others. In his spare time Asif likes to indulge in outing with family, watching movies and Talk shows.

Pharmaceutical supply chain is more complex than many other supply chains, in the sense that it can affect social and political perspectives. On the other hand, managing the pharmaceutical supply chain is difficult because of its complexity and also government regulations in this field. The Supply Chain of Moringa is up-to-date with the current legislations and regulations. The sourcing of raw material as well as all other material is done on the basis of quality and competitive pricing. A fully dedicated experience executive is in place to deal with the daily chores and challenges faced in such a fiercely competitive environment.
